“When I was a kid, I had the most absurd expectations. Any time I played or practiced, I had to play perfectly. When I fell short of my expectations, it would consume my thoughts, and at some point, after ruminating on it long enough, I would let it ruin entire my day. My only focus should have been trying my best, not doing my best. I don’t know why I put so much pressure on myself to perform. A lot of what happens in the game is out of my control anyway .”
